LIGHT CREATES SHADOW, ODD OWL (SF), NICHOLAS VON PLESS @Habesha Lounge 8/3
..unfazed by the deception of control
Well it's a new year and there are lots of changes happening in the LCS camp. First off, we have added a new drummer, Chad Rush, as a full-time member. We have been rehearsing a lot over the last few months in preparation for the unveiling of a new sound. Be prepared for an epic return of rock to Portland! We are still in the process of filling out the line-up and then plan on entering the studio to work on an EP. We are looking forward to playing out to share in the experience of art and sound with you. There are great moments awaiting all of us. See you soon!

We have been rehearsing a lot over the last 6 months after adding Antreo Pukay to the band on guitar. I think his contributions have changed the songs in a most excellent way. "Imagine an eye unruled by man-made laws of perspective, an eye unprejudiced by compositional logic, an eye which does not respond to the name of everything but which must know each object encountered in life through an adventure of perception. How many colors are there in a field of grass to the crawling baby unaware of 'Green'? How many rainbows can light create for the untutored eye? How aware of variations in heat waves can that eye be? Imagine a world alive with incomprehensible objects and shimmering with an endless variety of movement and innumerable gradations of color. Imagine a world before the 'beginning was the word."
